Dihydro furan derivatives are potentially bioactive hence we started working on it prepared them from 2-(4-nitrophenyl)-2-oxoethyl 2-phenylacetate, reducing and adding substituted carboxylic acids with EDCI, HOBt leads to the titled compounds.
